NMIMS Collaborates with Tel Aviv University

This collaboration will include joint programmes at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, student and faculty exchange and collaborative research
A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed by Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) Mumbai, a deemed-to-be university with Tel Aviv University (TAU) Israel to strengthen academic collaboration.
Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and State Irrigation Minister Girish Mahajan had finalized the MoU during their three-day visit to Israel. Rannan Rein, Vice-President TAU and Sharad Mhaiskar, Dean, Mukesh Patel School of Technology Management & Engineering, NMIMS in presence of President of TAU Prof. Klafter had signed the MoU. His reception address to Fadnavis, Prof. Klafter said that with signing of the MoU, in the history of internal relations of TAU a new chapter has begun.
According to Sharad Mhaiskar, Dean, Mukesh Patel School of Technology Management & Engineering, NMIMS, that was indeed a momentous occasion for NMIMS and marks the beginning of a new phase for Indo-Israel academic collaboration. Further, two universities were keen to collaborate in areas like cyber security, food security and safety, and business and innovation he also said. This collaboration is part of the Make in India programme of the central government. It will include joint programmes at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, student and faculty exchange and collaborative research.
