manishDelhi’s deputy chief minister Manish Sisodia said that Delhi government will set up incubation centres at all higher education institutes, especially technology institutes, across the national capital.

He was addressing students at Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) in south Delhi. Government wants youths to become task masters and solution givers instead of becoming high-salaried engineers he said.

Technology from other countries is very costly, so there is an urgent need to invent new technology in our own country so that we don’t have to look at them he told.

He further said that youth should think out of the box as society does not need only high-salaried engineers, but it also needs task masters and solution givers.

The deputy CM said, “Government will set up incubation centres at all higher education institutes, especially technology institutes, across the city.”

He said that they are seeking new technology from companies to implement their ideas but it is unfortunate that companies which came to them brought technology invented in other countries.

“We are looking for solution of Delhi’s problems through Japanese and Russian technologies. We need to focus on indigenously developed technology,” he said.
