Rashtrapati Bhavan to have Video Conferencing room to interact with Central Universities

The President of India will now have direct access to all the central universities to which he is Visitor. The Rashtrapati Bhavan has been given a facelift under which a video conferencing room has been created for the purpose.

“A new room for Video Conferencing has been created from where it is expected that the President will interact with Vice Chancellors, faculty and students of Universities for which he is the Visitor,” says a press statement issued by the Rashtrapati Bhavan.

President of India, Pranab Mukhrejee is taking keen interest in the higher education sector of the country and recently has also organised a vice chancellors conference in Rashtrapati Bhavan in February after a gap of 10 years.
