Mukesh Ambani is open to setup Harward standard Institution in India

Reliance Group Chairman, Mukesh Ambani is ready to set up an institute along the lines of Harvard University in Maharashtra, informed Rajesh Tope, Minister of Higher and Technical education in Maharashtra at the second convocation event of the Institute of Chemical Technology.

“The university will come up only when the Private Universities Bill (Self-Finance Universities’ Bill) is passed. Mukesh Amabani would set up a replica of Harvard University and is ready with the infrastructure for 22 departments,” Tope said.

Tope said that the bill has already been tabled in the assembly but is facing issues related to reservation. However, he was hopeful that the act will be implemented soon.

He added that the state would allot land for the expansion of ICT to set up the satellite campus.
