Loyola Institute of Business Administration (LIBA) was established in 1979. It is a premier management institute known for its academic excellence and value-based education. It provides management education to both fresh graduates seeking world-class management education and also to those who are already employed and want to enhance their managerial skills.
The Loyola Institute of Business Administration (LIBA) has appointed Dr. Peter SJ, as the new Director of the institute. He is the fifth director in this series. He will look after LIBA’s educational activities to lead the B-School in the next phase of growth and enhance institute’s research capabilities.
Dr.Peter SJ possess rich experience in teaching. Earlier, he was a Professor in Commerce at Andhra Loyola College, Vijayawada, St.Xavier’s College, Palayamkottai and Loyola College, Chennai. He has embraced various Administrative posts as Vice Principal, Deputy Director of LIBA, Rector, Secretary and Correspondent of Loyola College, Chennai. He has also served as a Director at St.Joseph’s College of Business Administration, Bangalore. Further, publishing of two books on his name i.e. ‘Neglected Majority’ – Change of Government Policies of School drop outs in 2006 and ‘Aiming Small is a Crime’ – A Charter for Jesuit Alumni/ae – The norms and guidelines for Alumni Management is another feather in his hat.
After his appointment as the director of LIBA, he said that he is honored to have been entrusted the role of being the Director of LIBA. He would look forward to work closely with the alumni, students, and surrounding community to build on the School’s high standards of student achievement, commitment to innovation, expanding faculty research, entrepreneurship and fostering partnerships.
