Azim Premji University
The Azim Premji University, set up by its namesake and FMCG to IT conglomerate Wipro owner Azim Premji has opned up admissions. By doing so it seems to have steal a march on some of the other universities being setup by corporate titans.
According to its website, ” it is inviting applications from working professionals, teachers and fresh graduates for admission to its Masters’ Programmes 2012 – 2014. The courses currently on offer are Master of Arts in Education, Master of Arts in Development, and Masters in Teacher Education.
The University is promising financial assistance, student support and placement assistance for the enrolling students.
The Written test for admisisons will be held at 28 centres across India on February 26, 2012 to examine proficiency in English, analytical ability, general and social awareness and knowledge of relevant subjects.
The last date for is February 10, 2012. Aspirants can apply online or send a request letter with name, address, and contact number in a self-addressed envelope, with postage stamp for Rs 50 to- Pixel Park, B Block, PESSE Campus, Electronics City, Hosur Road (Beside NICE Road), Bangalore 560100.
