Uttar Pradesh Governor B.L. Joshi has announced the appointment of Dr. D.N. Jauhar, has been appointed vice chancellor of the Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University, Agra (formerly Agra University).
Jauhar was previously professor of law at the Panjab University and former chairman of the Panjab University’s law department here. He has been appointed for a term of three years.
Jauhar received his legal education at the Panjab University, and has over four decades of teaching and research experience. His research work on the landlord-tenant relations has been cited and quoted by the Supreme Court and several high courts.
Jauhar has been a member of the visiting faculty of several Indian and foreign universities.
